Under the patronage of H.E. Shaikha Hind Bint Salman Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain International Federation of Business and Professional Women, Albareh Art Gallery is delighted to announce the opening of Aysha Hafuz’s second exhibition at its premises in Bahrain titled ‘Celestial White’.

The opening reception will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday 26th, November, 2019 in Albareh Art Gallery.

 

The sculptures created by Aysha Hafuz appeal to multiple emotions. She sees the white color not only as the master of all colors, but also as a form of radiant energy that raises tranquility and meditation. White in this case is characterized by a certain degree of neutrality and differs from other colors due to its characteristic lightness unlike what we see in some of the base colors that are mixed together to produce a separate color altogether.

Graphic art provides the basis for color in terms of both construction and its expressive and visual connotations. However, in some cases, in terms of formation the colors became prominent and turned the work of art in to a verbal and listening medium. This is something that we can see in the sculptures created by the artist Aysha Hafuz. As a sculptor she has carved her name with the chisels of her soul in the world of graphic arts across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

 

About the Artist

Aysha Hafuz was born in Muharraq, Bahrain.  Her artwork has been exhibited in Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia since 2004 in both group shows and solo exhibitions.  She also works fulltime in the field of International Communications.  

 

Celestial White continues at Albareh Art Gallery till 24th December 2019.
