Born in Muharraq, Bahrain, Aysha Hafuz graduated from Beirut Arab University with a BA in Philosophy and
Sociology (1989) and went on to serve as a senior media specialist at the Information Affairs Authority.
Her work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions across the Gulf region, including the Bahrain
Comprehensive Fine Arts Exhibition, the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition, the Desert Heritage Exhibition
(Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia), the First GCC Contemporary Art Festival, and Beyond Imagination for Bahraini Female
Artists, among others.
Hafuz has also presented several solo exhibitions, notably I See Music at Dar Al Bareh for Fine Arts, It Feels
Love at the Bahrain Arts Society, Rhythm of The Sea at Al-Bustan Hall, and Beautiful Women Are Beautiful at
the National Council for Culture in Kuwait. Her work has also inspired the poetry of Ahmed Al-Ajmi.
