Tranim is an Arabic word that means rhythmic melody or a rhyme. In this exhibition, I try to translate this concept within the context of the 60 miniature paintings by using simple materials and modest sizes. The sixty 10x10 cm black and white paintings are worked on paper to convey the meaning and to reflect my perception of time. Simple lines in black ink are used to give the viewer a direct impression of the meaning.
The meaning here is the result of my visual accumulations from the reality and if measured in time then can be calculated in seconds to represent a different case of the visual landscape and the visual continuity of the scene.
