Artist, critic and poet. Born in Syria in 1952. He studied Art in Syria and later in Italy. He is a prominent member of numerous leading international cultural organizations. He is currently the Director of the Sharjah Art Institute and Arabic Arts Centre in UAE. He is a co-founder of the Sharjah Biennial and Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial. Moualla had many solo exhibitions in the Middle East, Germany, Belgium and France. Talal is also an acclaimed author and has an important role in the development of art criticism in the region.
