Ste?phanie Devico is a Moroccan artist born in 1972 in Fes. She studied at the Fine Arts School of Marseille. She had many exhibitions all over the world (Morocco, New York, Romania, Paris, Spain, London and Gibraltar). She lives and works between Fez and Paris.

Her Art evolved through the years, she has started at first to work with Berber symbols and in 2004 she decided to go back to studies, so she joined la Sorbonne University in Paris, where she did a research on the Monochrome (It’s a term generally used to describe painting, drawing, design, or photograph in one color or shades of one color).

Since then Ste?phanie has been seeking to paint the “Perfect Monochrome”, it’s only then, she says, that she’ll feel accomplished. She’s inspired by the 4 elements of nature (water, wind, fire and earth) her canvases are in constant move as if they are in a constant search for Life! Ten years ago,
an art critic has qualified her “as a promising artist in Morocco”. Today, many confirmed artists recognize her work as a sensitive commitment.
