Elias Ayoub

Elias Ayoub (b. 1986) is a Beirut-based contemporary artist. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University, followed by a Master of Arts from Kursk State University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Art at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow.

Active in the Lebanese art scene since 2012, Ayoub has presented his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Europe, including Lithuania, Russia, Poland, Croatia, and the Netherlands. His works are held in both private and public collections internationally, spanning the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

An award-winning artist, Ayoub demonstrates a strong technical foundation. His practice moves between Neo-Cubism and Neo-Expressionism, often centered on stylized figurative forms. His themes draw deeply from his cultural background, heritage, and lived experience in the Middle East.
