Adnan Abdulrahman Mohammad Al-Ahmed is a Bahraini visual artist born in Muharraq. He holds a master’s degree in expressive and applied arts from the École des Beaux-Arts in Besançon, France. A member of the Bahrain Arts Society, he works as an artist and writer at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities. Al-Ahmed has participated extensively in local and international art exhibitions, representing Bahrain in many Arab and global art forums, workshops, and jury committees. He has executed murals in Muharraq and at Khalifa Bin Salman Port, and was awarded the First Class Efficiency Medal by the King of Bahrain in 2014. Al-Ahmed also received the GCC Excellence Award for Visual Arts in 2015 and holds an International Visitor Certificate from Washington D.C. His recent book “Colors and Letters” combines 50 paintings with 50 poems.
