Born in 1986 in Bahrain, she received her Bachelor's Certificate in Art from the University of Bahrain in 2008. Her artistic journey has been marked by consistent participation in prestigious exhibitions and cultural events across the Gulf region and beyond. Beginning with the Annual Exhibition of Fine Art in 2010, she went on to present her first solo exhibition titled “Lady Bird” that same year. She has been a regular contributor to the Bahrain Culture Authority’s annual exhibitions and has participated in numerous shows dedicated to Bahraini female artists from 2011 to 2015. Her work has gained international recognition, with notable appearances at the Festival Doha Capital of Culture in Qatar (2010), exhibitions in Kuwait, and the prestigious IMAGO MUNDI project in 2017. The artist’s work has also been featured in European venues, including the Surfaces Exhibition with Its Liquid Group in Venice, Italy (2018). Her artistic achievements were particularly celebrated in 2017 when she won the Suoad Al Sabah Biennale prize. Throughout her career, she has consistently contributed to both local and international art scenes, participating in various group exhibitions including Art Bahrain Across Borders (ArtBAB), exhibitions at ALRIWAQ art space, and the Annual Exhibitions of Fine Art in Bahrain, with her most recent participation being in the 49th edition in May 2023. Her work has also been featured in charitable initiatives, such as the Royal Charity Organization’s Art Exhibition in 2018, demonstrating her commitment to using art for social causes.
